Poland proxies

Poland proxies route requests through Polish residential and ISP IPs, with city targeting in Warsaw, Krakow and Wroclaw. Poland prices in złoty, has a fast-growing online share of retail and requires every advertised discount to cite the lowest price of the previous 30 days, which hands collectors a ready-made audit field.

The short answer

  • Since 2023 a seller announcing a price reduction must show the lowest price applied in the 30 days before it (UOKiK). Store that figure next to the current and the struck-through price.
  • Internet sales were 10.1% of retail sales in September 2026, up from 9.0% a year earlier (GUS, enterprises with more than nine employees).
  • 56.6% of people aged 16–74 bought online in the three months before Eurostat's 2025 survey, below the EU's 62.4% but rising each year.
  • Prices are in złoty (PLN), not euro, so cross-border comparisons need a dated exchange rate per observation.

Local work

What teams collect in Poland

Price monitoring

Allegro is the marketplace most Polish price work starts with, and Ceneo aggregates shop offers by product. Collect each seller's offer, delivery cost and the 30-day lowest price where shown; marketplace sellers covers seller-level data.

Alternative data

A rising online share and the mandatory 30-day reference price make Polish retail a clean input for price indices. Online price indices covers basket design and chaining.

Real estate & jobs

Warsaw, Krakow and Wroclaw are distinct housing markets, and portals such as Otodom and OLX list sales and rentals per city. Run each city from its own exit and keep currency and area per row; see real estate listings.

Travel fares

Low-cost carriers fly from Polish airports to the UK, Germany and southern Europe. Pricing those routes from a Polish point of sale in złoty is covered in low-cost carrier fares.

Brand protection

Brands selling into Central Europe watch Polish marketplaces for listings that misuse their names or images. Counterfeit listings covers evidence capture from public pages.

In depth

The Poland market, for data teams

The 30-day lowest-price rule for discounts

Poland's consumer authority UOKiK explains that whenever a seller announces a price reduction it must also state the lowest price that applied in the 30 days before the reduction; UOKiK has said the obligation applies from the start of 2023. The rule implements the EU Omnibus directive.

For data teams this is a gift and a check at once. Collect current_price, struck_price and lowest_30d_price as three fields. If you have daily history yourself, you can compare the shown 30-day figure with what you observed, which is exactly the comparison a price monitoring audit needs.

The GUS series covers enterprises with more than nine employees, so small web shops and private marketplace sellers sit outside it. Marketplace data fills that gap, which is one reason seller-level collection is common in Poland.

UODO and the 2018 Personal Data Protection Act

The President of the Personal Data Protection Office (UODO) is Poland's supervisory authority under the GDPR, under the Act of 10 May 2018 on the protection of personal data. Marketplace listings from private sellers and classifieds can carry names and phone numbers; leave those out unless you have a clear reason to keep them.

FAQ

Questions

Something not covered? Write to contact@arcproxies.io.

Can I target Krakow or Wroclaw specifically?

Yes. Warsaw, Krakow and Wroclaw are the three Polish city targets. Gdansk, Poznan and Lodz are not; use Poland country targeting for those.

Is there Polish mobile coverage?

No. ARC Mobile exits exist only in Germany, the UK, the US and Japan. Polish mobile-web pages can be collected through residential exits with mobile device signals.

Does a Polish exit change the currency to złoty?

Usually, together with the pl-PL language header and the .pl domain. Some international shops keep euro for foreign visitors until the currency is set, so store the currency on every row.

Which pool should I use for Allegro-scale catalogues?

Start category and search pages on ARC Basic, the rotating ISP pool, and move to residential only the pages that need it. Reduce proxy bandwidth covers keeping large crawls lean.
