How much do mobile proxies cost?

ARC Mobile lists at €3.50 per GB excl. VAT, with a shallower volume ladder than the residential pools. Check the pricing page for any campaign price currently running — when one is active, the list price is shown struck through beside it.

How long can a mobile session hold one IP?

Between 5 and 60 minutes, set when the endpoint is generated. That cap is enforced upstream, unlike ARC Basic, Fast and Ultra, where the sticky hold is best effort with no hard limit.

Do I compose the connection string myself?

No. Mobile endpoints are minted upstream on a separate gateway and generated for you — in the dashboard or with one API call. The _pool- token used for the rotating pools does not apply here.

When should I choose mobile over residential?

When the thing you need to observe only exists on a carrier network: ad inventory bought against mobile traffic, app surfaces that branch on the network type, or a page variant served only to phone users. For everything else, residential is cheaper, reaches 185+ countries and supports city targeting.

What a mobile proxy actually is

A mobile proxy exits through a real mobile carrier's network, on an address from the block that carrier assigns to phones. Because carriers share those addresses among many subscribers at once, traffic from one is inherently hard to attribute to a single user — and some sites, ad placements and app surfaces behave differently for it than for any fixed-line address. When that difference is the thing you need to observe, no other pool substitutes.

What mobile is not for

Every pool has a shape. Knowing where this one ends is what stops you buying the wrong thing.

Four countries only

Germany, the UK, the US and Japan. If you need a mobile exit anywhere else, this pool cannot serve it — no workaround, and we would rather say so here than after you have bought.

No city targeting

Country level only. Carrier addresses do not map cleanly to metros, so plan mobile checks nationally and use the residential pools where a city matters.

Sticky is capped at 60 minutes

Unlike the rotating pools, where the hold is best effort with no hard cap, mobile sessions are clamped upstream to between 5 and 60 minutes.

Not the pool for bulk collection

Carrier bandwidth is the most expensive we sell. Use it for what only it can see, and put the volume on ARC Basic or ARC Fast.
