Use case · Travel fares
Proxies for travel fare aggregation
Airlines, hotels and rail operators quote by point of sale: the same seat has a different price in Berlin, London and São Paulo. Query each market from an IP inside it so the fare you store is a fare a traveller is actually offered.

The problem
What goes wrong without the right IPs
Point of sale changes the price
Fare buckets, taxes and available inventory are set per market. A quote collected from one country is a quote for that country, whatever currency you asked the page to display.
Currency display is not point of sale
Switching the currency selector usually converts the same fare rather than requesting the local one. Only the exit IP moves you into the other market's pricing.
Search is expensive for the operator
Fare search is costly to serve, so it is rate-limited harder than most pages. Concentrating a whole matrix of routes and dates on one address is the fastest way to be throttled.
A search flow is stateful
Search, then results, then a fare detail — often carrying a token between them. If the exit changes mid-flow the session breaks and you collect nothing.
Prices move within the hour
A matrix that takes six hours to collect is not one observation, it is a smear. Parallelism across a pool is what compresses the window enough for the numbers to be comparable.
Setup
Recommended setup
Fare search is stateful, so the sticky session is not optional here — it is the setup.
| Plan | Role | Session | Targeting | Price |
|---|---|---|---|---|
ARC Fast Rotating residential | Default for fare search Residential exits in the point of sale you are quoting, held long enough for search, results and fare detail to complete on one IP. | Sticky, 10 minutes per search flow | Country + city | €2.00 / GB €1.12 at 1 TB (−44%) |
ARC Basic Rotating ISP | For schedules and static content Timetables, route maps and hotel descriptions do not change per market. Collect them on the cheapest pool and spend the residential budget on the fares. | Rotating | Country | €0.75 / GB €0.59 at 1 TB (−21%) |
ARC Ultra Premium residential | For the operators that matter most Premium residential for the carriers whose fares your product is judged on. Route those and leave the rest on ARC Fast. | Sticky per search flow | Country + city | €3.50 / GB €2.17 at 1 TB (−38%) |

21 GB bought in one purchase at €2.00 / GB (list price).
The same 21 GB on ARC Basic: €15.75 at €0.75 / GB. Move down as soon as the cheaper pool holds up.
Sampled rather than exhaustive: this assumes one in sixty route-date-market combinations is refreshed on any given day, which is how most aggregators actually run. Collecting the full matrix daily multiplies the figure accordingly.
Bandwidth never expires, so a bigger single purchase is only ever cheaper per GB. See the ladder.
