Proxies for QA, app and localisation testing
Your staging environment sees your own CDN edge, your own currency and your own consent banner. Requesting the site from the market you shipped it to is how you find the localisation bug before a user reports it.

The problem
What goes wrong without the right IPs
Geo logic is untested until it is in production
Redirects, currency, tax display and consent banners all branch on the visitor's location. From the office you exercise exactly one branch of that logic, every time.
The CDN edge you hit is not theirs
A stale object or a misconfigured rule on a distant edge is invisible from your own. Only a request routed through that region touches the edge the user does.
Payment and consent flows are regional
Available payment methods, required disclosures and the consent banner itself change by country. A flow that works in one market can be broken in another and still pass CI.
Mobile networks behave differently
Carrier networks apply their own transforms and routing. A page that is fine on a residential line can be wrong on a phone network in a way only a carrier IP reveals.
Regressions are found by users otherwise
Geo-specific breakage typically surfaces as a support ticket from the affected market, days later. A scheduled check from that market turns it into a build failure instead.
Setup
Recommended setup
Test from the markets you actually ship to, and add a carrier check for the ones where mobile is the majority.
| Plan | Role | Session | Targeting | Price |
|---|---|---|---|---|
ARC Fast Rotating residential | Default for browser tests Residential exits in the target market, held steady so a multi-step flow — landing, consent, checkout — completes as one visitor. | Sticky, 10 minutes per run | Country + city | €2.00 / GB €1.12 at 1 TB (−44%) |
ARC Basic Rotating ISP | For assertions and smoke checks Our lowest price per GB for the cheap, frequent checks: does this URL redirect correctly, does the right currency appear, does the localised string render. | Rotating | Country + city | €0.75 / GB €0.59 at 1 TB (−21%) |
ARC Mobile Mobile 4G/5G | For carrier-network checks Genuine 4G/5G IPs, for verifying behaviour on a phone network. Four countries, no city targeting. | Sticky up to 60 minutes | Country only — DE, GB, US, JP | €3.50 / GB €3.15 at 1 TB (−10%) |
Prices are list prices in EUR, excl. VAT. Volume discounts apply automatically at checkout — full ladder on the pricing page.

What a nightly suite across eight markets costs
An illustration with round numbers — your pages, payloads and retry rate will differ. The arithmetic is the real price ladder.
Assumptions

- 60
- Runs
- nightly
- Weight per scenario
- 4 MB, full render
- Bandwidth per month
- ≈ 58 GB
On ARC Fast
€97.44per month, excl. VAT
58 GB bought in one purchase at €1.68 / GB (−16% volume rung, applied automatically).
The same 58 GB on ARC Basic: €42.34 at €0.73 / GB. Move down as soon as the cheaper pool holds up.
Full renders are the cost here. Splitting the suite — cheap assertion checks on ARC Basic nightly, full renders on ARC Fast weekly — usually cuts this substantially without losing coverage.
Bandwidth never expires, so a bigger single purchase is only ever cheaper per GB. See the ladder.
