Proxies for market research and sentiment
What a market publishes about itself — catalogues, forums, reviews, news, job posts — is visible from inside that market and partly invisible from outside it. Sample it on a schedule you can repeat and defend.

The problem
What goes wrong without the right IPs
The sample is biased by where you sat
Collect a market's web presence from one country and you get that country's view of it: different catalogue, different promotions, sometimes a different site entirely.
Sentiment sources are localised
Review sets, forum front pages and news aggregators sort by region. A sentiment score built on the wrong region's sample describes a conversation the client is not in.
Studies are bursty
A research project collects heavily for three weeks and nothing for two months. That is the worst possible fit for a monthly allowance and a natural fit for a balance that waits.
Findings have to be reproducible
If a reviewer cannot re-run the collection with the same parameters — country, city, date — the finding is an anecdote. Targeting stated in the request makes it repeatable.
Coverage decides credibility
Twelve markets beats three, but only if the marginal market is cheap enough to add. Price per gigabyte is what determines how wide the study can be.
Setup
Recommended setup
Research reads broadly and lightly, so the cheap pool carries the survey and the residential pool carries the awkward sources.
| Plan | Role | Session | Targeting | Price |
|---|---|---|---|---|
ARC Basic Rotating ISP | Default for broad sampling Our lowest price per GB, with city targeting — which is what lets a study add a market without a budget conversation. | Rotating | Country + city | €0.75 / GB €0.59 at 1 TB (−21%) |
ARC Fast Rotating residential | For review platforms and social sources Residential exits where a consumer IP changes what is shown, held steady so a paginated set is collected as one visit. | Sticky, 10 minutes per source | Country + city | €2.00 / GB €1.12 at 1 TB (−44%) |

The same 15 GB on ARC Fast: €30.00 at €2.00 / GB. Route only the jobs that need it through the pricier pool.
Bought once for the whole study rather than monthly. Whatever the study does not spend stays on the account for the next one, which is usually what turns a one-off project into a repeatable tracker.
Bandwidth never expires, so a bigger single purchase is only ever cheaper per GB. See the ladder.
