Brazil proxies

Brazil proxies route requests through Brazilian residential and ISP IPs, with city targeting in São Paulo and Rio de Janeiro. Brazilian prices come in several forms at once (cash, instalments, Pix), and the law says how each must be shown, so the schema matters more here than the exit.

The short answer

  • Decree 5.903/2006 requires the cash price to be shown and, for instalments, the total, the number and value of instalments and the interest; quoting only instalments is prohibited, online included.
  • Pix, the central bank's instant payment system, launched in November 2020 and handled almost 80 billion transactions in 2025; many shops show a separate Pix price.
  • 89.1% of people aged ten and over used the internet in 2024 (IBGE).
  • The LGPD (Law 13.709/2018) is interpreted and enforced by the ANPD.

Local work

What teams collect in Brazil

Price monitoring

Marketplaces such as Mercado Livre and retailers such as Magazine Luiza show a cash or Pix price next to an instalment plan. Collect all three, plus the number of instalments and whether they carry interest; marketplace sellers covers seller-level fields.

Reviews & changes

Brazilian consumers publish complaints and company responses on public platforms such as Reclame Aqui as well as in app stores. Track response rates and themes over time from Brazilian exits.

Real estate & jobs

São Paulo and Rio de Janeiro are separate property markets with listings on portals such as ZAP Imóveis and OLX, often with the condominium fee and IPTU tax as extra lines. Store those separately from the asking price.

Ad verification

Affiliate and coupon activity around Brazilian marketplaces is heavy, and redirects can differ by region. Affiliate link monitoring covers following redirect chains from a local exit.

Alternative data

Online prices give a daily view of price changes between official inflation releases, from the same marketplaces Brazilians actually buy on. Online price indices covers basket design.

Cash, instalments and Pix: how Brazilian prices are displayed

Decree 5.903 of 2006, which regulates Law 10.962/2004 and the Consumer Defence Code, requires prices to state the cash total ('total à vista'). Where credit or instalments are offered, the page must also give the total payable, the number, frequency and value of instalments, the interest and any charges. Showing a price only in instalments, so that the consumer has to work out the total, is prohibited, and a 2013 amendment applies these rules to e-commerce.

Pix adds a third price. Many shops offer a discount for paying by Pix, so a single product page can show three figures. Model them explicitly:

FieldExample label on pageWhy keep it
price_cashà vistaThe legally required reference price
price_pixno PixOften the lowest; discounts vary by shop and campaign
installments_nem 10xNumber of instalments offered
installment_valuede R$ 99,90Per-instalment amount
installments_interestsem juros / com jurosInterest-free plans are a pricing lever in themselves
price_total_installmentstotal a prazoCan exceed the cash price when interest applies

The LGPD and the ANPD

Brazil's General Data Protection Law (Lei Geral de Proteção de Dados Pessoais, Law 13.709 of 14 August 2018) is interpreted and enforced by the ANPD, which the consolidated text now names the Agência Nacional de Proteção de Dados. The ANPD describes itself as the central body for interpreting the LGPD.

FAQ

Questions

Something not covered? Write to contact@arcproxies.io.

Can I target São Paulo specifically?

Yes. São Paulo and Rio de Janeiro are the two Brazilian city targets on the rotating pools; copy the city token exactly as the availability table prints it. Brasília, Belo Horizonte and other cities use Brazil country targeting.

Is mobile available in Brazil?

No. ARC Mobile exits are only in Germany, the UK, the US and Japan. For Brazilian mobile-web pages use residential exits with mobile device signals.

Which Brazilian price should go into my index?

Usually the cash price, because it is the legally required reference. Keep Pix and instalment prices as separate series; mixing them makes a payment-method promotion look like inflation or deflation.

Do Brazilian sites need a Brazilian IP to show BRL prices?

Many show BRL to anyone on the .com.br domain, but delivery estimates, freight costs and some promotions depend on the CEP (postal code) and on the visitor's region. Use a Brazilian exit and set the CEP explicitly.
